Michele Weitzenberg retired from a successful career in computer sales to pursue her passion for Watercolor painting. She began painting with her mother, an accomplished artist, and was inspired by her love of watercolor. Michele continues to develop her skills by studying under many well known artists including Judy Greenberg and Charles Reid.
She has recently been honored by having one of her paintings selected as the 2009 Harvest Fair Poster.
Michele works in her studio in Santa Rosa, where she strives to capture the diverse subjects and incredible colors of Sonoma County in her paintings. Watercolor with its vibrancy, fluidity, and luminous color is an ideal medium for depicting this beauty.
Michele is married and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She holds a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
